Mrs. Sarah Wigglesworth » Biography


Sarah Mathis Wigglesworth (AKA Mrs. Wiggs) has always wanted to be a teacher. In 2013, her dream finally came true when she graduated from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a dual BA in Historical Studies and Elementary Education K-5 with Middle School Science Specialization. She started at Cape Trinity Catholic in September 2013 as the Title 1 and Spanish Teacher. The following year she taught Religion and Spanish and in 2015 she was offered the position of 8th grade Homeroom teacher, K-7 Spanish Teacher and Middle School Science teacher. Although Mrs. Wiggs loved teaching middle school, her true passion was elementary education. Mrs. Wiggs is currently the 2nd grade teacher and has fallen in love with teaching all over again. Teaching is her passion and her #1 goal is for every child to be excited about coming to school.

Mrs. Wiggs is the product of Catholic Education. She graduated from Saint Raymond’s (Villas) in 2003 and Wildwood Catholic High School in 2007.

Mrs. Wiggs lives in Northfield with her husband Ryan and daughter Reagan. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, eating Mexican food, and planning her next trip to Disney World!
